Entering UM because: This will be my first Ultra-distance event.  I started in Ironman distance events to test my mental determination, as well as keep fit.  After 10 years doing the Ironman circuit, I am interested in stepping up to longer distance events.  I have loved the Big Island for many years.  My wife and I were married there in 1998.
